The music of the Pearl

The last line of pearl means that the pearl wanted to go back to the place where it first was. The pearl symbolized greed and evil disguised as hope and opportunity. This brought out the true evil and greed of Kino's family and the village people, people would do anything to get the pearl, they even tried to attack Kino for it. This pearl had a huge effect on Kino's family, it inter feared with the wholeness of their lives. Kino became obsessed with pearl and its value, he wasn't going to let anything stand in his way, this caused a great deal of grief for his family, life would never be the same. The music of the pearl slowly disappeared because as it went down into the sea, the greed and evil slowly disappeared from the people it had effect on. When Kino finally threw it back into the sea, him and his family got rid of all the greed and evil they felt. The pearl will always be remembered as a great lesson for the family.
